Fist off prepping is normal. Up until now most people stored food and other supplies for lean times and any emergency.

Now when there is a storm coming the grocery store parking lots are full and the shelves are empty. If the emergency last more than a couple of days like hurricane Katrina there is no food left on shelves and thous that did not prepare have no food. So up till the Baby Boomers generation most people prepped.

Prepping is cheaper. If you have three moths of food you don’t need to buy food unless it’s on sale. On top of that you get to participate in an investment model that normally only big business get to use, called capitol deferment. If you buy food at today prices and in a year when you eat the inflation has caused a 2% increase in affect you have saved 2%. If you combine buying at sale with capital deferment you will save a significant chunk of change.

Remember no mater how many people make fun of you or how much you get discouraged remember it’s better to prepare than despair!
